We are not looking for pretty flowers, cute puppies & cats or kids or beautiful landscapes. We are looking for funny, adult humor cartoons drawings and verses, hot men and women (professional photos) for all our lines – Krack Ups, Naughty Nudes and BoyTown News – our premier gay line.
GAGLINES: Payment for gaglines is $50.00 per idea. Payment is made AFTER a signed AFFIDAVIT OF ORIGINALITY is Writers receive credit on the back of the card and samples of said card.
ARTWORK: We negotiate the fee for each ARTIST separately. The fee will be to obtain the world-wide reproduction rights of the design.
Greeting Card Markets
According to The Greeting Card Association payment typically falls into one of two tiers, either $35 – $50 or $75 – $125.
Humor tends to pay more than contemporary prose and traditional poetry.
Greeting Card publishers usually pay their artists more than their writers.
